yeah, i could imagine that.
i know of one artist who did some album art without hearing any of the music.
all he had to go off of was the song titles.

i know thats off topic, but it popped into my head.

yeah that happens sometimes
it depends on deadlines and such
sometimes you'll get that
i know they used to do it like that in pre-internet days koz it was harder to get the music to the artist

but i think that any technology to facilitate the spread of information is good
i think the more we all know the better
an artist who is able to read the lyrics AND listen to the music is always gonna have a better chance of creating more fitting artwork than the one who only got song titles and a couple of lyrics
